Only occurred to me recently that architecture periods like Georgian, Edwardian, Victorian, Tudor etc. are named because of the monarch at the time.

Americans sometimes use these terms but also use localised terms (usually named after styles). It can get really confusing reading stuff.

Maybe you’re thinking of killer sudoku, where you get the normal sudoku grid but instead of having some numbers on there to start from, you get smaller boxes with a total that the numbers inside need to add up to?

It’s still mathematical in the sense that it involves balancing things out logically - in a more abstract sense, that’s basically all Mathematics is.

Plus algebra is basically replacing numbers with pictures, too.

Plus numbers aren’t real and are an arbitrarily-defined placeholder for rougher concepts, too.
