That Razorlight is a play on words.

TBF if he hadn’t said it I’d have pointed out this blatant falsehood.

Added a ‘staff colour’ to that so you can see steved’s avatar, invisible prick

Also I had to be told this. I didn’t actually ever realise it.

You’ve made a powerful enemy, Theo.

Please explain!

It…is? As in ‘raise a light’? What’s that? That’s not intentional, though, is it? I thought it was meant to be about a crack in a window or some padlock that Sid Vicious wore.

Who said that?

Rays of Light?

Either this or our guitarist has totally done me here. Have I been done?

alright, Ben Swain

I think it’s just coincidence.

That said when they first appeared the claim was that ‘razorlight’ was the light that came in through a crack in a shutter or somesuch. Now I Google that weird Sid Vicious padlock thing is everywhere so, in all honesty, who knows.

Took me ages to see the arrow in FedEx, it was actually a disser who made me aware, can’t remember who.
Maybe Lucien

So glad you said this before I became a science teacher.

It took me years to realise that the peperami slogan “It’s a bit of an animal” also referred to the fact that the product is made out of dead animals. I just thought it was a reference to the character in the advert being a bit angry

I only found this out recently too.
