A thing I didn’t realise about that film: Marion Cotillard plays the girlfriend of the main character.

And the motorcycle equivalent:

Only lame-o kids were fans of Streethawk.

I guess that’s right, if you were 10 when it came out rather than 5.

Plus it had a Tangerine Dream song as the theme music.

Can’t fault Tangerine Dream (I have my Babylon 5 soundtracks after all) but I recall this being ultimately the most disappointing of the three (Airwolf being the 3rd, obviously).

Was amazed to see there were only 8 episodes of Streethawk or something. Much like Manimal, it’s weird how a short lived show can really stick in your brain when you’re a kid.

You scored a homebase with this one

Airwolf harks back to simpler times, when any societal problem could easily be solved by the simple application of an all guns blazing ambush with an attack helicopter.

Don’t forget the cool soundtrack.

I spent ages teaching myself to play it on my brother’s toy keyboard. Hampered somewhat by only having a bossa nova backing track option.

wow - there were only 8 episodes of Manimal!

I had a C90 tape with all my favourite theme tunes recorded on to it.

I used to take the tape recorder from the ZX Spectrum and hold it up against the TV speaker when they were on.

Knight Rider, Street Hawk, Airwolf, A-Team, Wide Awake Club, Mask, Transformers, Trap Door, Snooker Loopy, Hold A Chicken In The Air, White Dog Poo…

I say ‘I had,’ but I know exactly which box it is in at home.

What?

only very recently I learned that a frown was an upside-down smile. I thought the frown was the thing you were doing with your eyebrows when you were cross?!

So what did you think “turn that frown upside down” meant?
