things you have learned

if you’re frying something don’t stir it. just let it sit there otherwise it will never brown. ever.

The perfect implement for peeling ginger is a teaspoon. Learned that from Silky, who often came out with some right old shit but when he was right he was right.

how do you do that?

I got how to remove the skin off garlic from silky, he hit it out the park sometimes.

not sure i can be bothered taking my garlic down the park

Hold the head of the spoon at about a 45 degree angle to the ginger and gently scrape it. It’s a gamechanger.

You’re just going to let it sit there, frying, without taking it to the park first? Smh.

i would quite like to know if there is an easier way to get the skin off of garlic. i’m smashing it with a knife.

love garlic, hate the preparation of garlic

Hold the flat part of the knife down on the garlic, press down on it and crush. The skin usually just pops off.

If you talk to your plants you will help them and they will help you, when I had a coffee plant I would sit next to it while I was on the phone sometimes just so it could get that sweet sweet CO2

I’ve learned that a flawless profile, a perfect body, the right clothes, and a great car can get you far in America - almost to the top - but it can’t get you everything.

I did! I had some little beans I was so happy. Of course I went away for a few days and forgot to make arrangements for my plant and it died. I had spent so much time on it, it really thrived in my overheated room and I watered it daily
