not being able to see the band cause some bellend has their camera up filming it
Someone inflating a balloon and then the crowd batting it around above their heads.
Bass too loud, can’t hear the vocals.
The wait between the support and main act

Trying to work out the logistics of finishing work and having dinner before the gig and making it to the venue in time
Watching the roadies come out and tune the guitars for the fifth time during said wait.
Just stop going to flaming lips gigs
One of the things I like about Edinburgh is that gigs are pretty much all done by 10pm, or 10:30 at the latest.
But that means they all start at 7pm. So this is very real.
This plus working out if opening time even relates to the timing of the bands anyway. Shall I get there at doors open at 7 to see the first band at 7:30, or will I be standing around until 9?
Too loud, hurts my ears
“Excuse me yeah my mate is down the front I was down there earlier c’mon don’t be a dick my mate is down there”
Bonus points when they’re carrying four pints
Telling work colleagues who youre going to see and them saying ‘never heard of them’
The entire rest of the audience.
Hate that other guy who’s into weird electronica.
e-tickets
I want my stubs!
knowing that a good band have been fucked by bad venue sound/mixing/etc.
turning up then realising you’ve forgotten your gig kit
-
Going to a gig on your own, needing the toilet and then feeling horrendously torn between pushing back to your space that’s inevitably been taken or just accepting your fate and having a shit view at the back
-
Venue specific but having to decide between a 2 pinter and accepting it will soon enough turn warm and flat, or choosing 1 pint and having to go back and queue all over again
Properly hate it when there are either too many or not enough people at a gig.
Not this, I have absolutely no time for paper tickets in the year of our lord 2021.
