Yeah that is the problem with them, think the company originally did similar things with more definition, but then came up with this idea to make them as generic as possible across a range of franchises and they really took off. There is a doc on Netflix

I’m not big into collectibles but like the idea of these as they are cheap and fun cover a big range of things, just a shame they aren’t a better design as their beady eyes and blank expressions creep me out

did this for my stag do, it’s very fun for the first 20 minutes but it gets insanely hot inside the inflatable things

we had the park booked for an hour so sacked off the inflatables after half an hour and just played fives for the rest of it

Ok I was forced to do one for work and it was proper shit (not a great escape room, and not great ‘team’ of colleagues and none could be arsed)

but then did one with some friends up in Newcastle and it was actually really enjoyable. Definitely think it can be a laugh but understand not everyone’s cup of tea.

i find the concept of collecting things that have no practical use at all other than to simply act as a visual reminder or marker that you’re into a particular TV show or film really hard to get my head round, no harm to folk who’re into them mind you

i have a mate who has fucking 100’s of those Nintendo Amiibo things (although i’m led to believe you can actually do something with those?)

Exactly (to the word) what happened when I did this on a stag do.

It’s good fun for a bit. Bash the stag about. See a load of lads fall over a few times and struggle to get back up. But it wears off VERY quickly and everyone loves a kickabout.

we also found it was very difficult to drink cans whilst wearing the bubble things, which also contributed to them being sacked off early

People who collect lots of pairs of trainers. OK so you may need a few pairs or styles for everyday use, but I mean people who get limited edition ones and keep them all in the box.

Fidget spinners - I thought you could do tricks with them or something but you literally just spin them round. No wonder the fad died out in weeks. In that time though every kid had one and schools had to send letters round banning them

i used to be very bad for this, have tried to ween myself off it in the last few years.

my mate got a pair of limited edition Nike in one of those END clothing raffles a few months back, he paid £150 for them and ended up punting them for £500, in short, people are fucking stupid

our kids got loads of like dc and marvel funkopop things, but shes a proper dork so. someone got me a darth vader one for xmas or something once? its fine i guess, i think the ones with helmets or weird shaped heads are better than the ones that all look identical. also have a, not funkopop but like a figurine with a big head of harry styles that gf found in the park, find it quite funny that she picked it up and brought it home and gave it to me

To be honest I was fairly confused by minecraft until I gave it a go on a whim and there’s something very absorbing about it. It’s hugely complex if you want it to be or massively simple. It’s also genuinely tense and despite the simplistic graphics kind of beautiful. Stonking music too.
