Gigs for sure.

Also booze. From 16 to my mid 30s I hammered it (apart from a period of illness in my 20s). I’ve done it. Got drunk on everything in every conceivable way a zillion times. I was a big drinker. Now I am done. So done with booze. Still like it but when I drink now I feel like I’ve done it all before and it’s lost it’s appeal.

Which is probably a good thing. Cos you know, it can kill you.

riding bikes (atm, hoping that changes again soon though)
Sorta feeling similar to @hip_young_gunslinger about beer, but then I have one and then that all changes

Sorry didn’t read the thread before posting. Turns out a lot of it is about booze. So yes, boozing.

Tell me when it’s Brexit

Is that a real ale?

Absolutely nothing wrong with it - it’s eminently quaffable. Just in most pubs you wouldn’t jump for joy if it were the only flavourful keg beer available - but I did in this one.

I went through a phase of eating too much avocado and now it makes me feel a bit sick.

Creme eggs. Had a one+ a day habit for a while.

They’re still fine, obviously, but not that fussed.

Chocolate nesquik

People moaning about hangovers need to realise that they go away again once you become a proper alcoholic.

Serious answer: fags. Other serious answer: “Modern Family”. Watched it a lot for a bit and really enjoyed it, now never ever watch it at all, even though Tivo still keeps recording it.

Trying to get through Modern Family, I really liked it for the first few seasons but there is Just Too Much of it

Right? And it’s still ‘good’ despite it so fair play to them for that but it’s just so overwhelming. If they made less episodes it would be better quality as well I think.

I was drinking Crusha like it was squash for a brief period. The thought of it makes me feel slightly ill now.

Radiohead

I think it’s a problem with US TV in general, when they get something that sticks they squeeze every last drop out of it

Yeah it’s the two extremes here and there. Here they leave us wanting more but sometimes 2-3 seasons of 10 episodes feels so unsatisfactory, be there as soon as there is a hint of popularity they commission like 10 seasons with 15-24 episodes a season. Madness.

Yep, made a ‘classic’ pint of chocolate nesquik as I used to circa 2001 the other day and felt horrid after drinking only half of it.

Sisters of Mercy.

Overdid worcester sauce crisps when I was about 13 and had to take a couple of years out but I’ve been back in the saddle for a while now.
