I fucking HATE that advert for the Honey browser addon where this dumb as shit looking fella is like usually I spend $1000000 on pizza but Hoiney saved me sixty bucks. Like… why the fuck is he ordering all that food

Cinema and theatre can both be affordable really, its just a case of knowing when / where to go / book.

I’m beginning to think I’m doing trips to the cinema wrong…

I flat out REFUSE to go if I don’t get the above.

Please. We can’t do this again. We just can’t.

My stance on it has been unchanged and will never change that if you get annoyed at other people doing anything in the cinema, you shouldn’t go to the cinema.

Bye for now!

Sounds like an Everyman cinema, which is the oddest named chain ever as hardly anyone can afford it :grinning:

You lot arguing about the specifics of cinemas makes me feel like such a carrot cruncher. Don’t have a car so it’s a 20 min walk into town followed by a half hour bus to the Odeon on the industrial estate or nothing for me.

Going to all that hassle then paying £12 to see a film? Fuck off. (I’d love to go to the cinema more regularly, but it’s such a faff.)

anyone is welcome to my meerkat movies discount

Them meerkat lads saved me £160 on my car renewal this morning. Still resent paying £320 to only drive to charge my battery.

admiral gave me £25 because people aren’t driving much nowadays.

always hate having to phone to not renew my insurance, always get the hard sale, and I find it embarrassing to say ‘save your breath I want to go through the meerkats for theoretical rewards I will never use’

Ruined the whole film is clearly an overstatement but it is obviously fucking irritating and immersion breaking. If you think you might be getting super vital notifications you can’t possibly wait for then you clearly shouldn’t be in a cinema

If you tick the don’t automatically renew box then you don’t need to do that.

I say that but I don’t remember doing it today!

Lack of control over other patrons (eating, talking, snoring) puts me off going to the cinema more than the cost (which is loads if you have to factor in a babysitter).
