If it’s a long running thing and doesn’t cause me noticeable discomfort (Idk, I may be desensitised to it)…I assume it’s fine

can you be certain you aren’t a ghost?

Remember reading something about someone died of a cardiac arrest from chronic constipation - lots of nerves in the GI tract, so can really mess up physiology p. badly

Wishing everyone a healthy GI tract

Maybe I should see my GP…

Similar situation to ‘having the flu’ maybe?

Having suffered from both, definitely preferred being bunged up for a week or so followed by a good clearout to having rusty water pouring out of my arse for a fortnight.

If it’s a regular thing, and you’re not exaggerating when you say that it can be a couple of weeks, then yeah, definitely go see your GP.

How have you never had constipation before?!

and drink some water!!

Someone told me a story once about someone who died of constipation. She exploded. For real.

Without going into it too much (it’s in the depression thread)…my lifestyle has probably contributed, especially if dehydration is a factor.

I’ve heard medical stories about it coming back out the way it went in due to severe impaction.

I feel like I might have made this up. I’m going to go google it.

I believe this is now considered what Elvis Presley most likely succumbed to… TKC don’t go the way of the King!
