Went for food with workmates then bumped into an ace pub dog

So just spent a while after they left fussing him and now I’m home

I’d line up a load of the days guest ales on the windowsill, talk them through each one, and then they’d come back home to be drunk and kicking a ball about in their garden

I’m halfway through a six hour car journey and ive stopped somewhere that isn’t tebay- massive regret.

Got to spend an hour in the garden playing football with my nephews earlier, it was excellent :slightly_smiling_face:

Now have three days in the office before I go on holiday but about two weeks work to do

I was househunting in Margate, yes- all my stuff is there now in a storage unit, but househunting in a seaside town over summer is not exactly the easiest.

I dunno where the summer school is yet- the company runs it at a few different uni campuses and I said I didn’t really mind which I was assigned to.

My mum used to bake/decorate cakes as a side business, and used to hire out similar character tins from a local shop (with a terrifying clown puppet hung up as a decoration in the stairwell). I always remember her scrubbing them like mad before returning them to not get in trouble with the shop.

12-hour day today, probably another one tomorrow. It’s the busiest time of the year where I’m working (hence why they’ve got me in for a few weeks) so of course all the other departments have decided it’s the perfect time to get some non-urgent translation done.

My dinner consisted of two slices of brown bread and a tub of hummus, which sounds depressing but was absolutely perfect. Now gonna fall asleep in front of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Em… I don’t mean to alarm you but … did you know the worlds biggest bouncy castle is coming to dreamland this August??? :scream:

This is not cause for alarm.

(They also have a roller disco)

Aaaaaaaaaaah!! I am mad jealous. I want all those things

Classic Im_On_Safari :grinning::+1::beers:

Tell me what kind of dog is that?

my brother had a heart attack today.

Quite upset by it really as this is how my dad died.

Look, there is nothing stopping you setting up your own roller disco at home. The complaints of the neighbours, council and boyfriend are all piddly little trifles against such a magnun opus.

physically doesn’t seem too bad but I think it’s gotten to him in a bad way.

Only time in 30 years I have ever seen him cry.

Fuck Bam, that’s awful, sorry to hear this. Hope you’re brother is gonna be ok and I hope you’re as well as can be

You’re absolutely right, I actually still have my old roller skates from when I was 12 and they still fit. I have no excuse not to!!
