I think culture is indivisible. Does that make sense? The idea that someone might be into one sphere of the arts and not another seems totally alien to me. Like, I struggle to see how anyone could be into music and not be interested in the wider cultural context and influences and things it influences.

I am a HUGE advocate of do what feels right/comfortable maaaan.

I like some things about clothes and creating an outfit or whatever, but I have never read a fashion magazine in my life (although I do enjoy project runway, sue me)

Obviously there are certain things that do not look appealing to me or are commonly seen as not attractive (eg crocs) but more often than not being attractive is not the object of those kinds of things.

I actually would find myself more annoyed by people half assing it or making weird ‘mistakes’ (wearing a short sleeve shirt with a tie* for instance) but as I’ve got older I’ve relaxed considerably.

*That’s probably still unforgivable tbh tho
