Not many things annoy me as much as a count in that’s a different speed to the music. Unless it’s very different, for effect (Alice in Chains springs to mind).

You seem very musical - I believe you’ve mentioned semi-quavers twice in the past week. Do you jazz?

Drummer clicks in a crotchet beat. Band starts playing at a different speed. Makes me want to punch everyone involved – including Jools.
