Where did Gay Dad get their name? I tried to Google it but all I could find were Arcade Fire reviews.
I’ve a slight inkling it was used to wind up the homophobic meathead element of Oasis fans (and various stupid things the Gallaghers themselves have said) but only slight as I was 14 at the peak of their fame and could barely be bothered with music full stop. TEWL, though, is still a BNGR, to quote another band who are the future.
