As far as I can remember, it was a mix. A layer of real fruit on top of plastic bases, so it looked like a huge pile of fruit.

its described as a tourist trap by some of the comments, but just feel shamed at that. tourist traps round here are places like - 1. you can eat octopus but UNDERGROUND, 2. a huge instagram friendly lighthouse to pose in front of, 3. a shrine where the relics of st james definitely aren’t behind the glass barrier and you could get decapitated by a swinging incense burner, and 4. a crisp factory

ahhh much like the underground Pulpo place. always take people there when they come over for the novelty, but am I fuck paying 15 euros for a plate of octopus and a coke.
