defo not william. i was torn between edward and henry but think edward was probably first, based on having never heard of him but I know there have been loads of edwards.

There’s tonnes of Eds at the beginning, before the dark ages and all that.

think if i went to stone henge i’d lap up all the cosmic hippy stuff, would probably come away a changed person

Like how the stones were transported there, the specific layout and the surrounding importance of the land is all decce. I’m sure they’ll be a repeat of a documentary on it this week on BBC4. There always seems to be one on.

turns out Edward III was pretty notable. (googled)

My favourite is Edward IX: The Duck.

Name three military powers that had troops actively involved in the thirty years war. 2 correct/1 wrong = incorrect answer.

fun facts about all of them:

Henry III had a zoo at the Tower of London with lions

Edward III declared himself King of France just for banter, the mad bastard

George III adopted a pillow and called it Prince Octavius when he was unwell

Richard III had to deny that he tried to have his wife poisoned

William III was 4 1/2 inches shorter than his wife #myshortking

lavish, them Holy Roman Empire lads

i think i know who was king of England at the start of this but not sure exactly who was involved

France, Austria-Hungary… i’m p sure like a quarter of Germany’s population was killed or something but v certain Germany was not a unified country at the time and was still part of the Holy Roman Empire? so them. oh shit was Austria-Hungary part of HRE at the time as well. so fucking confusing to remember what was where in Europe at any given time.

@TheBarbieMovie2023 just wanted to say congrats on what I think is the best #historyweek yet
