Tbf there’s see a case for Godard in terms of invention and making the most of the form, but aaahh I like the Trufaut films I’ve seen way more than the Godard ones

not that I’ve seen, but I was thinking for if you struggle with subtitles - then the Ring remake, the Liam Neeson In Order of Disappearance one etc are all still viably good films
