accidentally found friends on channel 5 today, enjoyed it

I was all for staying in until satay sauce. Remember to wrap up warm :scarf: :coat: :gloves:

#663

which company is it? I always get esure cause it’s cheapest and they’ve been pretty good

#664

really don’t understand car insurance, why would anyone go for ‘first for car insurance’ when it costs £3k has a £3k excess, compared to hastings who cost £290 and has a £95 excess

#665

I just left e-sure out of principle because when I changed my car and address earlier this year it cost a lot in admin and extra premium when the car and address were pretty equivalent.

Now the ones im eyeing are hastings £294 or LV who are £406 (been with them in the past), e-sure are £516 at the moment according to those meerkats

#666

I would have voted the other way if it wasn’t for satay.

Thoughts:

People rarely write reviews if they’re happy with insurance companies and that kind of thing. It isn’t the same as reviewing your favourite bar or takeaway.

£120 is a tenner a month.

How much would it cost you to replace your car if it got totalled?

#668

all the reviews seem to be about how bad customer service is, not being able to get through on phone and being cut off after waiting etc, so think it is probably fine as it is unlikely id ever need to call them, dont drive much, pretty safe route maybe twice a week. My car is worth about £400

#669

My experience with Hastings hasn’t been bad so far.

#670

you should give them a review

#671

would probably commit murder for prawn crackers and satay sauce rn, but y’know.

#672

I biked to the bonfire and it was at capacity so they wouldn’t let me in. FAIL

  • Go to a mates, watch Sheffield derby via grunting growler and either Mother India’s or kimchi cult

Do I want to spend the next few weeks trying to get good at (competitive) Game of Thrones before tournament season begins, or start a (co-operative) Lord of the Rings campaign?

  • Winter Is Coming
