May i refer you to cons 2 and also 3. We’re insatiable
I am on page 355 of a 548 page book, I really want to sneak in some reading this afternoon but I’m going to an all day gigs thing and it’s quite a heavy book. What should I do?

Take the book and make @Avery carry it
Leave the book at home. You won’t read it.
Enjoy reading at Pendulum.
i’m going out to a friend’s house tonight, and she lives in the middle of nowhere with no central heating. what footwear should i choose?
Take slipper boots and comfy socks!
He’s been ill and he’s not even taking a bag so I’m the pack mule today

I do not know what birkenstocks are so I feel I cannot participate on this occasion. I wish you every success for the future.

Only if only worn indoors
Go for a walk then go to Tesco on the way back to get a treat
I don’t have a pension and you don’t see it bothering me (because I’m willfully naive mainly, but still)
Top surgery would change your life massively. Go for it.
I’ve been paying into a pension on and off (on when in steady employment) for years and I’ve got fuck all to show for it. It’s so miniscule I doubt it’ll amount to a cup of tea a week by the time I get payments from it. Obviously paying into a pension is the sensible thing to do but I think a pause while you sort out something that will contribute to your present and future happiness, well being/mental health and being your true self is much more of a priority rn. Lots of love xxx
Pro - by the time you come to retirement age we’ll either be living in a socialist utopia and won’t need your pension or we’ll be living in a post apocalyptic wasteland where you won’t need your pension.
This. We’re all absolutely fucked, basically. So why not live your best life while you can? Also, it’s a cliche but you never know what life’s going to throw at you. Could get hit by a bus tomorrow.
Aye. As you said, paying into a pension is definitely the sensible thing - and in general the right thing - to do, but sometimes now is more important. This seems like one of those times to me.
You’re still young so delaying pension contributions by a couple of years isn’t going to make or break your retirement income, so do what you need to now
