the big news article from my town in spain today was that a man nearly choked to death on a piece of meat inside a local restaurant but was saved by a doctor who was eating in the same establishment.
this line at the end absolutely did me:
La actividad en el establecimiento no llegó a detenerse en ningún momento. Los clientes que en ese momento llenaban la terraza del restaurante ni siquiera se enteraron bien de lo que sucedía dentro. En cuanto a los que estaban en el comedor, tampoco llegaron a levantarse de sus mesas.
Activity in the establishment did not stop at any point. The customers who were eating on the restaurant’s terrace at the time were not even aware of what was going on inside. As for those in the dining room, they did not even get up from their tables.
got a feeling this person had a play around on a few geocities sites about 25 years ago, downloaded a virus when trying to download new images for his icons and then gave up on the internet entirely.
That reminds me I once bought a little tub of ‘Dog Oil’ from a charity shop and gifted it to a friend. Still got no idea what you are supposed to do with it as there were no instructions or ingredients. It was literally a white tub the size of hair wax that said ‘Dog Oil’ on it.
