I’m not sure this thread lifespan test has been subject to the appropriate level of scientific rigour. Do we have a control thread to compare against?

That’s a good question, I’m glad you asked. We of course have the original TLT which stood the test of over 100 days of scrupulous investigation, and also our own hearts, without which, you probably have to ask yourself, what even is the lifespan of a thread? I know I sweat on that thought most evenings.
