The idea of casinobay as a full time farmer is a good one.

Exciting and nerve wracking new job. Going to set up in partnership with a guy I used to work with who has his own company, but has far too much work for himself.

Does this mean there’s gonna be a job going in a coupla moonths time up in bonny scotland within commuting time of Epic and Raffles :star_struck:

Time to polish my resume (not a euphemism)

Getting a bit bored of my standard porridge toppings (almond butter, banana, blackberries, strawberries, chia seeds, linseeds and flaked almonds). Anyone have any nice topping ideas that are more than just “cinnamon” or “honey”?

I would love to be a farmer!!

If you know how to use Civil 3D then the job is yours!

Ah, one teeny tiny issue…

I had to Google chia seeds.

I hadn’t heard of them before.

It’s Monday then! Beautiful morning here, the kiddo is already cracking on with some shapes maths, I’m about to do some work, all is humming nicely. Got to film a little video for the letting agency later in lieu of an inspection, can’t think of anything they’d be peeved about but it’s still a bit anxiety inducing. Eek. Also got a tonne of life admin stuff to do, so it’s going to be a busy day.

Grated pear +ginger +maybe some sultanas
(though actually I usually do this less as a topping, more as a stir in while cooking, but reckon it could go well either way)

Berry compote rather than straight up berries maybe? (just heat in a pan with a little sugar and possibly a tiny splash of water, stir occasionally, wait until their structure collapses)

Hi

House is tense af this morning so I am absorbing that feeling and also therefore tense af and that is quite exhausting.

Really want to make some flatbreads for lunch if I have the energy. Craving fresh bread so much. Also generally just wish I had the space/control to make more nice food, actually had a little cry last night reading a recipe book and realising in my circumstances most of it is beyond what I can do

D&D tonight, so that’s good ay least.

Quite a lot of snow falling in Stockholm this morning. The view out of my new home office window is alright

I also had a terrible nights sleep but that’s my fault for playing computer games too late.

I was going to start getting up earlier and go for a walk before work. But that didn’t happen to today mainly as the pavement looks like an ice rink. It does look glorious outside though.

Anyone got any tips for getting my brain out of first gear?

I’ve got one big, critical task to do this week & I’ve sat staring at this set of documents that cover two year’s work and the empty powerpoint I’ve got to cram them all into for over two hours now and I’ve barely planned the title slides and my branes hurtz and I want to go home (but I am already at home)

I’ve got like writers block or something, I don’t know what the hell is going on, help!

Mines not even in first gear at the moment. I’m stuck in neutral.

pear and ginger sounds nice!

I had some granola last year at a hotel that had stewed apricots and it was so nice but rarely see fresh apricots anywhere?

my last Spotify Weekly playlist was a total banger, but I forgot to save any of the tracks and now that it’s Monday it’s been totally reset and I can only remember one of the good tracks

no one has ever struggled like I struggle
