Yeah some were more optimistic that the planning for residential flats on only the top floors would ensure the retention of the pub downstairs but seems a bit far-fetched to me.

A good Thai off the high street is the Chang Mai Kitchen but beware you have to book in advance. Most of the best places are off the Cowley Road, don’t know if you consider that central?

Thanks! I know Cowley Road pretty well - tend to default there because it’s more interesting and the parking’s easier than in town. On the occasions when we’re central, I don’t know any restaurants well at all.

Problem is that most of the central stuff is all big chains so can’t really help there. There’s Turl Street Kitchen which is more independent.

hello - very untired today which is good
we are having a cake thinga t work - i haven’t bought in a cake and i don’t have any money to donate to teh charity - so thats good
will ahve to sack off my swim at lunch and get some cash out
