I miss the Deaf Institute, though it is difficult to tell if I miss the actual venue more than I miss living about two minutes walk away and remember it fondly just because I could be i bed within minutes of a gig finishing.

I just drove home through some ridiculously heavy rain and lightning. As I live on a valley the main highstreet was quite flooded.

On a train to Newcastle, got a work meeting tomorrow but coming up a night early to see a mate I haven’t seen for years. Off to a gig tonight with some of his pals and a couple of beers. Will probably sing Fog on the Tyne loudly at some point just to mark myself out as a complete tourist.
