I remember having to choose between that tour or One Minute Silence / Pulkas / Liberty 37 but then my parents said I could go to BOTH if I did extra GCSE revision at the weekend. Halcyon days my friend.

Fucking Brexit twats :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

think this weather is doing my brain in a bit - started feeling a bit down and low on energy. gym/walks have been a chore this week, and that’s irritating.

dunno what i’m having for dinner. soup and salad probably.

Baked sweet potato with garlic mushrooms

In the moos for pud but no pud in. But finally remembered to buy hot chocolate

I hope that dinner inspiration strikes you soon.

Please get a t-shirt with ā€œI’m actually quite well read, aren’t I?ā€ made.

join me in soupsville.

Really getting on one now but I’d say about 1 in 10 tours a man will stand and listen to me then as we’re walking between points will say almost my exact words back to me as if I forgot to cover that myself 30 seconds ago. Last week I was talking about Eadweard Muybridge and the guy even said ā€œsomething you didnt cover about him wasā€¦ā€ and I thought he must be taking the piss as he said every single thing I’d said.

Ok, no more anger…time for chocolate pudding :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

Keep thinking about rebuying that Pulkas album.

Didn’t like the other two though.

 this is a perfect response. I’ll remember to replay this to myself too!

I went on a walking tour in Portland and this slightly unhinged guy in a flowing black trench coat followed us around doing pretty much the same thing and generally looking very intimidating. At one point he threw a one cent coin at the guide and said ā€˜that’s how much your tour is worth’. :joy:

Oh God, poor guide! People are very odd, aren’t they.

can’t imagine how irritating it is tbh- i get annoyed with people who need to have to last word, or to provide some pointless quasi-illumitory statement at any opportunity, and i’m not a fucking tour guide whose job it is to teach people about local history etc.

It hasn’t held up, listened to it again after seeing someone in their shirt at Neurosis. It’s just second tier nu metal…but from five years before that was a thing.

Janus Stark on now, Gizz Butt doesn’t look a day over 80.

would have been great if the tour guide had nailed the cent thrower with the coin in the back of the head.

Slightly lost it at work today about having to take my boss’s dog out whilst he sits there not even busy, as though it’s my responsibility (the dog keeps jumping up at me as she needs the toilet). I know you probably think this sounds like a perk of the job, but when you’re under a lot of pressure and everyone’s bonuses rely on you getting something finished, it starts to take the fucking piss. He usually doesn’t say thanks either. When my colleague looked after her for a week she’d never jump up at work as he used to take her for a walk beforehand so she didn’t need to.

I’m fucking stressed at work atm so when she started jumping I was like ā€œevery fucking morningā€ and then ā€œI don’t know why she hasn’t been taken outā€ to my colleague loud enough that my boss will have heard. Obviously then spent another hour unable to concentrate as I felt guilty etc

Cheers

Wonderful band
