Evening all. How are you? What are you up to? I’ve just scoffed a mountain of toast and now I’m reading about home-made pornography for work (yes, really).
Made some pizza for dinner, good but bit of a thick dough.
Watching R play with the hose and pool now in the garden. (28 he is etc.)
Pierogi for tea!
Sat in the sun for a bit. Now watching the last episode of the wire.

Had pesto chicken salad for tea, too boring to take a photo of. Walk then trashy tele is on the cards.
Hi. Great morning at the breach. Dipped my feet in the sea and sang this. Daughter had a ball. Nice drive home through the new forest and then an afternoon chilling out and making pasta sauce
Had bow tie pasta and puttanesca sauce with homemade garlic bread (I say homemade, actually used a leftover half baguette and made garlic butter). Was banging. Beer and sewing bee I think. Bed early. Fancy a good early morning walk.
The pollen… it burns my eyes.
Had an ok day. Brought out another of my Shaun Tan books for R to read (The Lost Thing, @Acorn) and he really loves it, kid has good taste. Feel like this is all the excuse I need to get even more Shaun Tan books.
Not sure what to do tonight. Might make a poll.
Just listened to a podcast where they couldnt remember the name of pierogi so was shouting ‘pierogi!’ to myself.

Just having a sit-down after a busy day. Went for a long walk again, saw a field full of poppies/respects, and also saw a bunch of chickens.
Made some Spanish-ish food for dinner, including some escalivada which was probably better than my previous attempt but probably nothing like proper Spanish food. Won’t bore you with more food photos tonight, maybe another day.

Going to have fish finger sandwich with the last of my mojo picon, then a chocolate chai and an early night.

Had a slice of sourdough with mojo picon and garlic aioli on the other day and it really hit the spot.
