I’m in Rome!

My flight was delayed, standard. Then I landed and all my plans to get from the airport to the apartment where my wife is fell apart. The app I was told to get a taxi with wasn’t finding anyone. The actual taxi rank was empty, instead drivers were just parking away and openly haggling (even though there’s a fixed 30 euro fare). Bus was every hour or something to the wrong side of town for me. A pickle! Oh and my wife wasn’t answering her phone because she’s fallen asleep. Wahey!

Ended up haggling a driver down from 60 to 50 AND had to wait for him to find two other mugs as well. And he grinned the whole while. HARD BREXIT NOW. Oh then I got here and when my wife woke up she couldn’t get the key to work so I was stood out in the cold for 15 mins till a random guy let me in.

At least I have a beer now.

It’s not gonna go off :grinning: I listened to 3 or 4 Low songs before I had to do something else but they’re fucking great.
Yeah I’m trying to stay up to make the most of being off work but sleepiness is winning.
