On my way home from the horses. Had to wait at the bus stop for half an hour because I just missed the previous one and apparently that was the cut-off point for them running every 15 minutes. Luckily I had a thermos with some hot tea on it and could spend at least some of the time stretching my poor muscles.

Plan for when I get home:

  • Very hot shower
  • Cook some pasta
  • Send one or two emails
  • Watch tv
  • Go to bed

Ours doesn’t. Gas, but needs the electric to control it. Duvet and a book once I bring dinner home.

Evening all,

Home an hour later than hoped, got collared by a colleague who spent 18 minutes talking at me with the express intention of arranging a meeting for sometime on Tuesday next week… :roll_eyes:

Spent ten minutes on the phone reassuring my daughter that because she saw a video of a heart transplant today in science doesn’t mean she’s going to suddenly need one tomorrow.

Going to go and cook a pea risotto shortly, have a bath, maybe Netflix and bed.

Hey. Had a good day. Took baby to the aquarium and saw some good fishies and even some otters. Had to cancel dinner with my parents due to impending snow doom and worries about getting stuck on the motorway. Wasn’t too bad, but it was starting to get a bit heavy. So’ve been given a pie and veg for dinner. Gonna have that and a beer or 2

I think all my jackets bridge the gap between woek and technical so I always look too casual for most situations and too much like a noob for technical situations. Can’t seem to get it right.

Had double dinner (letting myself have one pig out meal a week) and now i feel slightly sick. Got a load of work to do tonight as I’m going to start work a bit later so I can squeeze in a morning swim (I can’t go any earlier than 8 as nursery only opens at 7.30, annoyingly)
