Garlic > keema > plain > any shit involving coconut or mushrooms or other disgusting things

Just had some coconut ice cream :+1:

plain is obviously the best form of naan

Big fan of a peshwari but I ordered what I thought was a peshwari the other night. It was on the menu as ‘sweet naan’ and there wasn’t a peshwari so it made sense. What I got was a naan stuffed with raw, brown sugar. Grim.

Mince in your naan! Unbelievable. Bet you’ve ordered a cheesy naan in your time before you complete philistine.

I’m accredited by south-london’s premier curryhouses, pal. get your citations ready.

The place we usually go out to do a great garlic and cheese naan tbf. Whenever I’ve tried a cheese naan from anywhere else it’s been a massive disappointment though, so generally avoid.

I’m just imagining a naan loaded with sugar cubes…

it doesn’t sound great

I’m ashamed to say I’ve ordered a cheese naan before. On paper it sounds like the greatest thing ever created, bread stuffed with paneer, but it was pretty bum from what I remember.

I had a similar experience when I used to order peshwari (literally because it was more expensive and therefore - or what I thought - better).

grim af.

My mate had a cheese naan the once and it had cheese singles in it :no_mouth:

Was even more weird because the curries we had were spot on. Cheese single naan could never be forgiven though

Voted after work. Got aubergine stuffed with halloumi and cous-cous for me tea, and a bottle of wine on the go (also stocked up on gin to prepare for the inevitable feeling of despair that will kick in around 11pm.)
Switched on Springwatch now and Wiley’s ‘Eskimo Riddim’ was accompanying a feature on peregrine falcons.

alright?

started watching that brad pitt netflix film but it’s fucking shite.

turned it off after about 10 minutes. never usually do that.
