A couple of notes:
-it was published in 1984, hence the inappropriateness of the title, but it is all Native American sources.
-it is part of a series of folklore books, each focusing on different countries/cultures. I just read the Japanese one and I was enjoying just reading short tales (a couple of paragraphs to a few pages max.) so I bought a couple more. I really recommend this sort of format for trying to work towards reading more.

I’m just back from the vets.

I got home from work and Gizmo had a red raw wound to his neck. It’s badly infected and he’s scratched all his fur off to get to the wound. Looks awful.

Phoned the vets at 6:30 and they said to take him straight in. They’ve cleaned it up and given him antibiotics.

The receptionist absolutely loves him, as he’s such a regular with his heart condition.

That is awful, do you think it was another cat that did it or did he catch it on something? Hope he is alright, at least he is already used to meds so hopefully antibiotics will go down ok. Poor Gizmo :frowning:

There was a big cat fight on Monday night but apart from a bad paw it seemed fine.
He was fine this morning, but I think it had been festering and he’s scratched himself to get to it.
