XYLO, come and be my personal trainer please. But like I need you to come to Scotland and shout at me and make me fancy quinoa dinners.

I’d never heard it until we learned it for our cover band! The marimba line and the bass line are top, top stuff though.

One of my cycling teachers has her own pilates studio and she is RIPPED tae fuck.

I worked with someone in the Lyon area who does lots of medical translation - would you like me to DM details?

But you’ll do it out of the kindness of your heart, yeah? YEAH? thanks.

Someone I know got a personal trainer for him and his fiance for getting in shape before their wedding and omg, they both look so hardcore now. Cost a lot of money though :sob: unsurprisingly.

Did a couple of pilates classes last year. Truly a humbling experience - thought my core was strong but it’s not pilates strong

Ah ok that’s an interesting one, I’d say then that it would be most useful to have a proper medical translator on call. I’ll DM you.

well, I have no strength anywhere :grimacing: what you do is amazing! Okay, cool, I’m sold, reckon I’ll give pilates a go!

I might ask you in the future if that’s ok? Need to get approval to pay for one first…

I found it really interesting what I could/couldn’t do. My core strength is all geared towards esoteric movements (i.e. preventing too much of a swing when my legs fly out behind me while climbing). When it came to doing the opposite kind of movement, like really controlled sit ups I’m hopeless.

@xylo !! There’s a sprint class I can go to. I was talking to my instructor about it last night and was contemplating it anyway, I just read the description and it mentions HIIT. So it’s like interval training?

Yeah, what sold me is the class is only 30 mins long  Haha. She seemed to think I could do it… :grimacing:

I am all about the sweat  :+1:

I used to be a bit self conscious about sweating actually in my youth, so much so that I used that insane stuff that basically stops you sweating! I reckon it was horrendously bad for you.

Yeah, I felt like I was always sweating too  not so much now, either that or I just don’t care as much. I feel bad for the kids nowadays being stuck with those dyson hand dryers, how are they meant to dry their pits with those!?

Tell us about your detox please  I have never detoxed. What happens? Is it fun?

Are you gonna link to I’m A Slave 4 U again?
