went to a connivence store/off licence that sells a wide range of milka variants for £1 yesterday, went to buy a chips ahoy variant but the guy said £3 minimum for cards. my understanding is contactless is free and this guy was being greedy and taking me for a chump, so I said ‘i’ll leave it then thanks’ left and vowed never to use that shop again (resorting to going to the train station vending machines for some revels and a milky way). In the cold light of morning, i’m wondering, do I want to cut myself off from that rich seam of milka variants

  • cut off your nose to spite your face, you love doing that

Morning everyone. The weekend has started for me

I have my friends and their 2x kids coming to stay for the night, then they are going to stay at my exes for a couple of nights. I have to go to Hove town hall to get parking permits for them (which is bullshit, you used to be able to get a virtual permit online but the council stopped doing it).

Think I’m going to make Tacos for dinner - might slow cook a pork shoulder if I have time.

I will be sleeping on my sofa tonight. It’s a big comfy sofa but I’m already anticipating feeling shit tomorrow

don’t think it’s free but they’re generally charged a percentage now with no flat minimum so it shouldn’t make a difference to the retailer if you spend £1 or £3 (I think…)

woke up and the first thing i did was look at the chair i built all by myself

maybe this is the start of something big, maybe I’m gonna be a normal human from now on. I can make furniture. I can be normal. A regular human being.
