Now play nicely… remember how we all felt when I mentioned the you-know-what the other day

Second albums of theirs is my favourite, but they’re all worth checking out :+1:

Riding a track bike is really fun. Penge CC have booked out Herne Hill on Thursday evenings for a few months so we can ride the track with our road bikes. It probably won’t be as fun but it will be better than not riding.

It’s only a fiver. Just gonna have a little go and see if it feels like a work out. Also it will annoy Mike, which is also a good thing.

Depending on the type of session, it could be properly full on. The sessions I used to do at Portsmouth velodrome were intense.

Ah  sorry. I’m very doubtful they are.

Whilst you eat them just recall this excellent bit on earth worm Jim where he saved the puppies with them -

That surely cancels it out? That’s how vegetarianism works, no?

Hullo,

Hit a bit of a blind panic as I got an email this morning saying that one of my son’s birthday presents won’t be in for collection later. Said birthday is tomorrow and NOWHERE else literally within fifty miles appears to be stocking the damn thing. Harrumph! Bollocks to you Argos and Richard E Grant.

On my way into work and desperately trying to source another copy.

Other than that, everything is just swell.

Had a caffeine coffee which I will pay for later on, no doubt.

Might go and watch Death of Stalin later.

Portsmouth has a velodrome?

Also I really love HHV so any excuse to go there really.

YES!

Quick question from looking at that poster:

I’ve never watched The Thing (I know), but I have watched The Mighty Boosh (I know).

Is this bit “look deep into the parka” a reference to The Thing?

He goes nuts for that shit. We’ve developed a family tradition for blueberry pancakes on Saturday morning. He sits on the kitchen floor shouting BOOBREE the whole time they’re being prepared.
