Wrote a long complaining post then decided it was best to abandon for all your sakes.

The sort version is I am just not up to today and will probably find myself capable of making the nice dinner I’d been looking forward to all week.

Need some looking after that doesn’t come with a debt attached for the help.

Afternoon all.

None of the wotk I wanted to get done today has made it anywhere near the front of the queue, just had grinding repetitive admin tasks thrown at me, with a properly panic inducing piece of technical guidance interpretation cropping it’s head up. None of this stuff is what I signed up for and have in fact spent 10 years working myself into a job where I can genuinely avoid it.

Hanging Bat! Opened last Thursday, just wanted to give them a little time to settle in and also it’s a friends bday this week so going with them. Drinking inside which is first time I’ll have done that so … we’ll see

Just going for a couple of hours, and it’s booked tables, one-way system, table service so feel relatively safe about it. Also a big 8% grapefruit, hibiscus and ginger sour available :smiley:
