Good morning

Bit cooler and overcast here this morning.

Going to take the dog for a quick walk and then need to pop to the shops. Might have another go at bread making when I get back.

I told myself I was having a week off but there is a strong temptation to go for a bike ride this afternoon, especially as its world bicycle day…

Morning all.

We stepped down to the 4 tog duvet on Tuesday evening. Much cooler but its been a struggle to get to sleep in the new conditions, having gotten used to the weight of the big 14 togger.

Cooler and overcast here today.

I eat soup for my lunch almost everyday in summer. Lovely and light and healthy. Eat it maybe twice in the whole of winter.

Went out to get mcdonalds breakfast but the mcdonalds on my street don’t do breakfast so now I’m just wandering aimlessly. my flat’s already too hot to work

I had no idea that some McDonald’s don’t do brekkie

Wtf

I can get and now want a Macdo’s breakfast.

It was too hot to sleep last night and now it’s too hot for me to concentrate on the WFH

I’m listening to jazz and pretending I’m a washed up detective though so swings and roundabouts

Didn’t realise its all drizzly/misty out there, so it was a slightly soggy dog walk.

Breadmaking time! Hopefully the dough will prove (proof?) better this time as it’s a bit warmer.

Morning all!

It is my grandparents’ diamond wedding anniversary today and I am going to a big family meal today in their honour (via DFS to order some cushions because if you try to buy them online they charge £69 for delivery, literally). In the meantime I’m listening to REM and pretending to work.

Turns out my bad sleep has been in part because I’ve not been doing any exercise. Two 5000 step days and I’ve been out like a light.

gonna have to be second breakfast then isn’t it

Trying to finish a press release type thing (even though @Epimer solved most of it for me last night), then 1) horses 2) a swim in the ocean!

Because they weigh a ton, need to be in a huge box and have to be heavily insured against smashing, obviously.

I say this as someone who bought a couple of pillows from Amazon once and was genuinely astounded by the size of the outer box they were delivered in. The inner box was excessive, but I struggled to get the outer one through my door.

I think it’s because they assume you’re buying a sofa - it talks about setting up your sofa when you go to check out.

Really annoying though as I wanted to check something with the material so didn’t order them at the same time as the sofa; I’d have ordered at the same time if I’d known.

Hi!
