@TheWza lives in Dennistoun so might be able to help. Can’t say I know that area well enough to make a well informed comment.

bloody tune and its not even their best

Yeah, I’ve got friends who live in Dennistoun and it seems cool but I dunno, with certain places you can sometimes get nearer less nice bits, just wondered if this was the case!

Back when I would commute to Cardiff I would encounter a man who would prop his head (half sleeping, grinning) with one hand, and be blasting out the Lighthouse Fam on his phone with the other. Thoroughly bizarre man.

I’d say the say same as @laelfy - especially in saying @TheWza is the authority on this subject. I live on the other side of the city centre.

Okay, cooooool. No worries. I’m just looking at flats out of interest and unsurprisingly Edinburgh is insane so I thought I’d have a gander at Glasgow just to torment myself. There’s a ridiculous flat there for a pretty decent price and I was a bit like ER, WHAT, whats wrong with it? Haha. It’s just because it’s Glasgow and not Edinburgh :sob:

Ally Parade and Denistoun are quite nice, probably the nicest east end areas. How come?

The park is lovely and Stan’s Studio is on that corner, there’s also a nice Italian deli. Friends of mine have moved a bit further down the street into a nice big place. It’s just significantly cheaper because it’s East End and not West or South

This day is DRAGGING now. I just want to go and play guitars and smash cans.

I’m just looking at flats for sale. I am doubtful the bf would want to move to Glasgow but my god, the prices man… they’re so much better!!! :grimacing:

P.S. Thanks for the info! I really don’t know where things are in Glasgow at all at all.
