I’m also dropping my middle name. Found her surname felt more normal with just my first name for some reason. I guess because my middle name is only ever used in conjunction with my current surname?

Today is my Friday as I’ve got tomorrow off. I’ve a lot to get done though,
Tonight I’m going to see Touche Amore and Angel Dust with a few friends. It’s been absolutely ages since I’ve been to a gig, so I’m looking forward to it.

I’m still trying to decide whether to go to Seville on my own in a few weeks, to see a football game and do touristy stuff.

I’ve got a long weekend booked off and what I had planned for that weekend has been cancelled.

I keep wanting to visit some European grounds but no one I know is interested. So thought I should just do it on my own anyway.

Might leave it to May when friends can go, weather will be warmer, but if won’t involve the football.

going out to the pub this evening for a sort of informal memorial thing for my friend who passed away last year. It’s been on my mind all week so I’m hoping I feel a bit less tense once it’s over with.

Do both if you can. I definitely wouldn’t be too put off by going alone, it’s up to you though. I’ve never been to seville, but I have it in my head it’s nice.

Lads, it’s fucking windy out there. Getting a bass and amp to practice is going to be fun. We are practicing in a tiny thatched cottage with an open fire so it is going to be cosy.

My last day in the UK today before I emigrate! Feels weird. Also feels boring because the shipping company helpfully gave a really helpful and specific window of ‘some time between 9 and 5’ for picking my stuff up. So mostly just sitting around waiting for them.

Have just finished my 26 hour babysitting session. Went really well for the most part but I’m obviously exhausted. Gonna try to wait until actual bedtime before collapsing though.

Also I think I have a date tomorrow (just have to confirm it like), which I’m obviously really nervous about because I hate going on dates, and I’ve only met this guy while I was really really drunk so have no clue what we were actually talking about or anything. #prayforwr
