“wfh” (setting up my new laptop and playing with the dog) today coz im going to see flight of the conchords tonight. feeling a bit :man_shrugging: about it coz comedy at an arena is a weird thing isnt it, and also the fact that everyone will know half the punchlines before they land. itll be fun tho like.

my mam text me that their dog is poorly again yesterday, she had a stroke about 18 months ago and now the vets reckon shes got alzheimers as well as a water infection and dodgy tum. 15 years old she is. poor old bugger.

anyway why does it take so long to set up a new laptop? bullshit

Went to the gym at 7. Benched and pressed some big weights then nearly threw up going a bit too hard on the rowing machine.

Got 2 (two) free kinder surprises at the train station, excited for the toys when I open later. Work has put on beers and food plus projector for the football later, but might swerve it to… well just not be at work/ around work people

Hi. My only plan for today is to buy a belt. This might sound incredibly dull, but regaining the ability to walk around without my trousers falling down constantly is probably going to be zthe most exciting thing that will happen to me this week

Started with flashing light and thought ‘this is going to go really well’ and it all fell apart quite quickly :grinning: Gave me a chance to call japes jay_and_the_monkeys though and I haven’t done that in ages.

Going outside my comfort zone and meeting a guy from my secondary school for drinks this evening as he lives down the road from me in Leeds. We were friendly but not actual friends and not seen him in 10 years so… Who knows, could be the start of something beautiful.

Beyond that, mainly work and sneezing.

Just got back from a school assembly. It felt a lot like watching Lord of the Rings. It had a lot of small people in it; and it went on far too fucking long.

I’ve started doing the rowing machine as a warm up, just 1000m. and I did it last week in 4:40 then this week my trainer pushed me to finish it under that so I got it in 4:15

Was very nearly sick and couldn’t stand up after for a good few mins.
