I’m at a gig. I don’t normally blag these things, but the headliner’s PR asked for a write up, so who am I to turn down a freebie? It’s in a former church which is usually an art gallery rather than a venue so the photos could be brilliant or terrible (from the current lighting that’s ok I fear it’ll be the latter)

Was about to take the dog for a stroll but it’s just started pissing down.

We had some harissa lamb with cous cous and pomegranate seeds. It was really good.
I’m bathing The Child before Wor Lass does storytime.
I’d quite like to watch a film but also quite like to go to sleep.
I’d also quite like a blueberry muffin if there’s still one going.

Worn out. Worked late doing a tour and couldn’t be bothered making our planned dinner so had Tescos pizza deal instead. Could do with an early night.

Wife is watching MAFS and I’m waiting to watch the apprentice.
No idea where else to put that one of the greatest of all TV shows was first broadcast thirty years ago tonight.

@plasticniki there were no tapir or capybara but did get patagonian mara.
@urbanfox or maybe @colon_closed_bracket wanted a pigeon in the lion enclosure, so here is a pigeon that has shat a pine cone
There was also a somali sheep that was frozen to the spot for matrix glitch reasons but a photo could never do that badboy justice.

Finished watching S1 Taskmaster with the kids, just in time to watch S17Ep2 Taskmaster with the kids.
Tired and got too much work to do, but bed is calling. Thankfully defeated Ironing Mountain for another few days, at least.
Also, asking for a friend, when will it stop raining?
The teaser video for our house, the modern world is wild, has gone up - 800 views so far. Now two things:
- there’s not 800 odd folk interested in buying a house in my area, some right nosy peeps out there
- it feels weird knowing all those folk have had a poke around our heavily sanitised house which was made to look like that for one child free day only
