$10m doesn’t seem too high a price to pay for accessing a competitors confidential information as part of an effort to maintain (and abuse) your monopoly position in the market and running them out of business.
Yeah, it’s effectively a plea bargain to avoid a formal investigation and trial.
Ticketmaster paid £110m to resolve a civil action brought by Songkick a few years back over the issue, acquiring them in the process.
US anti-monopoly law is nonsensical to the point of non-existence. Yay unrestrained capitalism!
