Of course… new user, played AQOS 8. It’s so obvious now you say it.

He was something else very similar before. Not sure why he keeps coming back. Now, to preemptively report to the mods or just wait for him to shitpost?

I already flagged it.

Don’t see that people under an existing ban should be allowed back, particularly under the radar.

Not going to shitpost. One of my NYR’s. Gonna go back to my old self.

Not condoning his views on homosexuality, but I never understood why Tim Farron was singled out.

As the daughter of a vicar, I wonder what Theresa May’s religious views on homosexuality are. Judging by her voting record I can make an educated guess…

Her views were never singled out though. She was never questioned on her views of homosexuality during the last election.

Regardless, are you aware of her voting record on laws that affect homosexuals? It’s alright saying one thing but her own record indicates otherwise.

My point being is that out there in the wider society there is still a lot of prejudice towards homosexuals, and is Tim Farron the only MP who has a problem with homosexuality? Call me a cynic, but I don’t think he’s alone, so why single him out?

Don’t agree with his views, but I have a real problem with people making him a sacrificial lamb.

two things

1 the lib dems are expected to be the most socially liberal, thus people are surprised
2 the press were entirely in favour of the tories so it was a nice easy stick to beat the lib dems with, thus it got lots of coverage

Absolutely this.

Yes

No

He was the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, and his views on homosexuality are not liberal in any way or form.

The Tory Party is often called the Nasty Party for good reason and their record regarding equality for LGBT people is truly dreadful. No person who cares even slightly about gay issues would/should vote for them, regardless of what Theresa May’s views on homosexuality are.

In that context that is very true.

What’s his views on wearing garments of mingled fabric? Or eating pork? Or coming into contact with a woman during menstruation? I expect, as a man who respect the word of the Lord as it is written in the Bible, he surely knows these things are sinful as well. And obviously he’ll be attending a church which doesn’t permit the physically disabled to worship, as is commanded in the book of Leviticus. Does the Liberal Democrat party support the death penalty for disobedient sons? Does he own any foreigners as slaves, as Leviticus (yeah that cunt again) permits him to?

You may be right, but that doesn’t mean that Theresa May shouldn’t be interrogated to the same degree as Tim Farron was. Just because she is the leader (?) of a party that has a questionable history on LGBT rights doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t be asked what her own religious views on homosexuality are.

If you’re gonna ask, ask them all. Call out the bigots.

Tories have worked out now that pretending to be a champion of gay rights makes people think they’re not absolute tossers. Like only a few years before introducing gay marriage, Cameron was getting up in arms about Labour repealing Section 23. Media all played along and every major outlet was going on about gay marriage being a positive part of Cameron’s legacy. Obviously yes it is a human right and absolutely should be legal, but the sweaty ham faced liar was able to successfully use it as currency to pretend his party isn’t completely evil.

Although I suppose if he had been taken to task on his past, then he’d have just ignored gay issues altogether to avoid the awkwardness. So idk, the world’s absolute shit, really.

Colouring on this photo has made this a GREEN card. Carry on and do more @GEOFF

lib dems are shy tories tbh
