think i’ve posted about it before but there’s a guy in this office whose job is to just cold call people and try to offer them this company’s services. he’s completely unfazed by getting knocked back and by people basically just politely telling him to go away and leave them alone. they’ll tell him to call back ‘in two weeks’ and then he’ll actually do it like two weeks on the dot.

the whole thing is amazing to me.

What a fucking awful day!!!
Also have a fox,chicken, grain scenario when I get off the train to a station with no lift or escalator and about 40 steps. Have 3 year old, buggy and 3 bags of heavy shopping…
Shopping and buggy up first, kid on platform, NO!
Kid upstairs with buggy,leave kid up top and go back for shopping? NO!
Gonna go for “full lug” option

Not gonna lie, if you scrape a sale out of that it is pretty much the most satisfying thing ever. Also means you can literally make money out of thin air which is quite a helpful skill.

(I need to get home that night because I am FINALLY having my roots done on Saturday morning. They’ve reached the stage of making me look hideous and greasy even when my hair is clean.)
