we’re about to get real hype now baby

Starting to see the inevitable “Titus Andronicus is mature now!” narrative taking shape online, and I want to vomit on everyone contributing to it.

If anything they/he’s got less mature

maybe being silly is the real maturity?

maybe it’s more punk to play classic rock than it is to be in a punk band?

Acoustic shows :frowning:

WHAT!?!? The EOTR show is going to be “acoustic”? Well, that’s disappointing.

ahahahha

Acoustic at St Pancras Old Church too.

Sounds shit. A bit like crap adverts where the song played is a very slowed down acoustic and dull version of the fun upbeat original version.

There’s going to be people* who turn up and just yell along anyway.

It’s “acoustic” in so far it’s a stripped down version of the band with Patrick on electric guitar and some other guy accompanying him on piano. It’s not going to be Patrick sat there on a stool playing quiet slow acoustic versions.

Nice venue indeed. I’ve been there a number of times. I wonder whether they’ll have the pews or go pew-less (like Tony).

I’ve never known it pew-less. Great little venue though. Moonface there was exquisite.
