what’s the protocol when something like that comes in? Are they immediately ferried into a sealed/ temperature controlled room, where everyone has to wear a white body suits, latex gloves and face masks?

It’s an ace city. Probably spent about 3 months here in total over the past 3 years. My top two tips would be the museum of modern art and the Exploratorium, which is an ace science museum (arguably aimed at kids, but it’s great fun anyway!). Oh, and the walk from Ocean Beach to Golden Gate Bridge is lovely.
