Hey, no fair. You have twice as many likes.

What is under your pillow?

Morning all.

Going to Franco Manca with my curriculum colleagues today, of all the restaurants in all of Islington they had to book a table at quite a mediocre pizza place.

I think it’s because I’ve done it loads of times.

It’s my iPad, was reading up on the Korean War before I went to sleep!

it’s because we know what he has below his pillow

Haha I know… but even before I really watched horror I would still have extremely elaborate and vivid nightmares :scream: I remember some that I must have had when I was like 7, one of them had the professor from teddy ruxpin being eaten alive by piranhas but because I was so young I hadnt been exposed to anything gory so instead of blood his skin just came off in chunks, like it was bread… I blame school asembley, I think I’d just been told about “his body is bread, his blood is wine” thing and I got totally freaked out by it. Haha!!!

Oh dear.

I miss my folk’s dog  Cannot wait to get my own bearded old-man dog.

Went to the doctor about it when was about 20 and he goes… do you drink a lot of coffee? Yes. Drink a lot of alcohol? Yes… Use recreational drugs? Yes… Get regular sleep? No… and he’s just like, welp, that’ll do it.

And you changed your ways immediately?

Think i did cut back a bit. Those were uni days anyway, can hardly manage three beers nowadays.

I reckon if I keep listening to Yo La Tengo then things will work themselves out. Did some boxing + pads training last night as my foot is STILL broken so I can’t run or cycle. Pretty good cardio, the ol’ boxing. I am slow as fuck though.

I’ma go take a shit

I’m assuming the dog’s stood on something back there, not just clinging on for dear life.

It was a lazy, dog-dangling afternoon.

Morning
I am a little stressed.
I need to travel to Singapore and New York before the end of September and I’m already booked to go to Olso for a weekend at the end of the month. HOW WILL THIS WORK

Morning brainfeeder and assorted characters.

I’ve had five days off and haven’t worked more than three days in a row for several weeks now. Finding it even more difficult to take any of it seriously.

My to-dos for today are:

Try to clear the backlog of emails and attack a few of the less trivial tasks on my list
Watch GoT with my housemate
Eat the mushroom curry my housemate is going to cook
Go to rehearsal with said housemate - work on some songs.

Morning bf and all

Not got much on today. Doing the IT for an exam this morning which basically involves looking at a screen every 20 minutes and saying, “yup, that’s ok.” Exciting times.

To do list involves having a bit of a tidy and listening to some records/writing some notes for a review. Oh, and going for a run so week 4 of Couch 2 5k can finally finish me off.

Hope everyone is well and you all have a particularly satisfying stretch at some point today.

Guess im not working today then. Might go out for youknowwhat @Jeremys_Iron

Don’t @ me, second breakfast bro. I’m assuming that’s what you’re talking about, what you’ve written could be wildly taken out of context.

That really does look like a good exhibition, no way I am managing a day out in thenext month though, shame

My lad is 13 months old, just learning to walk so in that baby/toddler transition phase. It isn’t all hinge buying and baby walks though: my mental health is in quite a state, exacerbated by still having to deal with my abusive ex-husband and also very poor sleep… that sounds like I am complaining, there is of course a lot about it which is wonderful and I feel very lucky to get to spend so much time with R as he is a fantastic little human, and things like walking with him to the swings at 8am when everyone else is heading to work are wonderful moments
