POLL BASED ON STANDARD 2-SLICE SERVING

Like fuck is that standard. Absolute shambles. Game’s gone.

B, but quite like the style of A, might convert

2 slices of toast is standard for beans/egg/whatever on toast. If I have access to a 4-slice toaster then I’ll have 3 but 2 is still the baseline.

A is the professional choice.

3 slices please. D with a slice in the middle

Yeah the only way D is acceptable is with an extra slice in the middle.

If I’m treating myself to two slices, you’d better believe I’m cutting my bread up in a fun fun way

Not sure I understand a and c. There seem to be 3 slices here??

2 slices. One whole and one cut in half either into triangles or rectangles.

Oh I see. Will vary how I treat the slices but will always do the same thing with both slices.

Usually cut each slice into four or 9 squares on the chopping board because I have a horrifying fear of the squeak if cutlery on crockery. Hence each is a beany mouthful of toast and beans.

With scrambled eggs I lay a slab on each piece and eat the piece with my hands like toast with marmalade spread on.

Very surprised that A is so rare. Thought that was just how everyone did it.

Yes. One for the topping, 2 halves for the side.
