Summary
absolute cunt on the Countdown forum decided once again that trans rights are a fun debate topic, just like he did at Christmas (where he made lazy and offensive TERF handbook page 1 ‘points’ - I told him to go and do some research and got told I was ‘annoying’ by another poster who claimed that as I knew so much more than everyone else on the topic, I should be spoonfeeding answers to those engaging in the topic in bad faith. when I said that it was hardly ‘annoying’ to request that people properly engage in a topic that directly affects a few people in our community, i was told that this was a forum where people shouldn’t be judged for not knowing much about a topic. genuinely fucking mad)
i wrote 1,000 words of a post in response to him claiming that there was ‘nothing very egregious’ in R*wling’s bile post (complete with some snotty stuff about how this forum is so great for open debate unlike social media and he felt he could post this without getting shut down. yeah, fucking surprise! there are 10 active users on the site, 9 of whom are white cis men who feel completely fucking entitled to being spoonfed information!!) and then my laptop fucking randomly froze up and I had to restart. this has never happened before. i lost the whole shitting post. i’m fucking furious
i can’t even just link to a post that debunks all her shit for me. this dude, and others, are bloodhounds for the slightest error or vagueness. everything i type on there ends up being a thousand words and fully referenced because it HAS to be watertight because he’s a total parasite in these discussions, you CANNOT shake him off so the only way is to make sure the initial post is absolutely solid.
i don’t even fucking want to reply to it because why the fuck would I want to do that when my arms are sore and my RSI is playing up but no-one else will and i want to put points across to anyone who’s unsure and also ensure anyone who is viewing the forum who is trans/NB knows there are allies out there
i was so angry i fucking meditated and tidied my room before i came back to this. i’m so sick of being around manbabies. (also very obviously lol that he’s now concerned about women’s safety when the harassment of women in the community has always been a big joke to him
