When theyāre sat on the sofaās and lose money for the first time, it really felt like it was about to become a slasher.

Whyyy did Francesca not pull Harry up more on lying? He got away with it in a really frustrating way. He was vague about what happened, but because she was specific they interpreted her as being accusatory. Yes a lot of the group didnāt like Francesca before then⦠but I hope they feel a bit ashamed when they watch that back. Anyways - Francesca should have made him tell the group the truth.

Although presented as the ādim oneā, Chloe was far more self aware than the rest. Thought it was pretty shitty of the show (and not funny) to repeatedly mock her for not talking about climate change? When, none of the other characterās got the same treatment?

Depressing that the lads need a workshop to try and deconstruct their toxic masculinity, and the women have one to tell them that their bodies arenāt āgrossā. 10/10 for Chloe for immediately saying Beef Curtains though.

The ladsā thinking theyāre intellectual deep thinkers was⦠a lot! Bryceās present/future clock from the workshop had me cry laughing.

We cheered when Kelz rejected Francesca. Warmed to him and David the most out of the lads. The David āstepping aside for Sharronā wasnāt very endearing⦠but I like that he tried to de-escalate the situation. Sharron came across like a fucking baby through all that, and though he seems to have come good in the end, his intro of āa) iām a feminist b) i study gender c) these things help me get laidā was a striking starting point.

Kory seems like heāll eventually end up on a sexual assault charge. I know thatās a strong take, but his behaviour was heavy on the red-flags. Iām usually fairly forgiving of the way people come across on reality telly but he seemed like a weapons grade arsehole.
Thought this was decent but a second season could be really good. Think it was a mistake not to show them the money in some form. I think it would have been more intense if at the beginning they were each shown their pot of money, then watch it get merged into the group pot, and then when money is lost watch it get deducted. Iām thinking of something like Million Pound Drop where the money literally disappears in front of them. The way they do it here⦠the money is a bit too abstract. They didnāt feel like were losing their own money.
