Twin Peaks to confirm should just be 1st and last of the original run.

Why

Tempted to do this with the simpsons

Because the revival is a separate series called The Return and is represented as such in IMDB etc.

You’ve never seen The Simpsons?

it’s the continuation of the story. plus it’s funnier that way

I could potentially do game of thrones. Seen clips on gogglebox but apart from that I’m clean - looks shite.

Films are too long but are at least a one off. TV episodes are the right length but then there are nearly always too many of them.

Bin them both off imo.

Barred!

i’ve already seen the first few seasons but might force myself to watch the last episode of Roseanne

Stuff that I’ve not seen one minute of that folk on here go on about loads:

  • Parks & Recreation
  • It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
  • Arrested Development

Also never seen any of Mad Men or How I Met Your Mother. Are any of these even vaguely worth watching?

EDIT: Also - Curb Your Enthusiasm…

Ooh, I guess I could do this one. I saw the first episode once and didn’t care for it then I saw people banging on about how the blackface stuff really wasn’t actually racist so fuck that show.

Mad Men: yes (seen every episode)
How I Met Your Mother: lol of course not! (never seen an episode but you can tell from clips and the sort of people who think it’s funny)

boring

great at its best. a bit ‘edgy’ early on and a bit patchy now though

original run is absolutely brilliant but don’t watch the Netflix revival

dunno

absolute shit

We skipped the first season of Parks & Rec (on recommendation) and I’ve still never seen it. I think like with so many comedies that get lauded (e.g. Schitt’s Creek) they take a season or so to warm up. I think we didn’t really get into P&R until midway through S3. Not sure if it’s that the writing improves, or that so much of US shows is built around a sort of self-referencing aspect that makes a laugh happen because of expectation though.

i’ve seen lots of the ‘good’ Parks and Rec episodes too. it’s…fine. struggle to get any more excited about it than that really. only one character who is any good.
