A year later, still the case. If it is eventually a double album that’ll make me even happier, more to last the inevitable next decade or two to their next!

They were really good at download last time they played so this is tempting, and have been amazing all the times i’ve seen them… But i did swear never to go back…

it’s growing on me! To be honest I wouldn’t care if it was called “this album is shit, and you’re a sucker fanboy!”, I’d still buy it after all these years of waiting!

I haven’t listened to Tool in as long as it has taken them to finish this album.

I had a listen to those two new(ish) songs they’ve played live. It’s Tool. Don’t know what else to say! I know expectations are pretty silly things but I was anticipating more than just really long versions of their songs. I’ll still be getting it of course. Hopefully the packaging is on a par with the last couple albums.

These were my thoughts - sounds like tool, nothing more nothing less. Wish i’d just waited to hear the album in full to be honest. Sure they’ll sound better then. and yep, of course, i’ll be buying it but good to remember they are just a band

Playing Amsterdam tonight.

I set up a Ticketswap alert in case tickets went for less than 20 Euros.

Nosebleed seats are selling for 80 Euros.

Fuck that.

What size venue? Guessing if they ever tour the UK again it will be shitty arenas…

Ziggo Dome, so 17,000 :-1:

Christ…

Saw them at Download on Sunday, fourth time seeing them and they were amazing properly jaw dropping, pins and needles stuff.

They played 2 new songs and this one was just :open_mouth:

When they come back I’m guessing it’ll be the O2 in London, but will have to go.

Last two tours i saw them at Nottingham arena and manchester apollo so pretty sure it will be shitty arenas i’m afraid…

they were incredible still, even in said arenas though so its not too bad.
