Remember ‘Supersonic’ had a swagger to it that had been missing from British rock and indie for the previous decade when it came out in 1994. Never a fan though the first two albums were listenable thereafter they became bloated rock excess at its worst and the Gallaghers cartoon caricatures of rock stars.
Even in the early days part of the fun was listening to their songs and working out where they had nicked parts of it from.
